The blueberry harvest began on July 5th and already we're down to the season's end. You will be able to pick this week in the morning, from 9 to Noon. The berry supply is inconsistent, so pickers are allowed to wander in the patch and find the good bushes. The birds are leaving some ripe berries for you. To plan ahead, children must be at least 6 years old and accompanied by one adult per child to be in the blueberry patch. Consider the patience of your child, as your pail will fill slowly, due to the smaller size of blueberries. The blueberries are $2.95 per pound and we are not set up for credit cards, so plan to pay in cash or by check. You may find it helpful to bring a kneeling pad, and maybe some water for drinking. It does get quite warm in the patch, so consider coming earlier to beat the heat.
